Rainbow Cake

Here’s how you can create Rainbow Cake at home:

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt: 200 gms
  • Baking Soda: 2 gms
  • Sugar: 120 gms
  • Oil: 50 ml
  • Flour: 120 gms
  • Baking Powder: 2 gms
  • Koh Foods Carrot, Beetroot, Turmeric, and Spinach Powder: 1 tbsp each

Procedure:

  1. Mix together yogurt and baking soda until foamy.
  2. Add powdered sugar and oil, mixing well.
  3. Gently fold in the flour and baking powder until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  4. Divide the batter into four equal portions, adding one vegetable powder (carrot, beetroot, turmeric, or spinach) to each portion.
  5. Transfer each colored batter into separate greased cake pans and bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven.
  6. Once cooled, demold the cakes and layer them with whipped cream and fresh fruits for that extra festive touch!

Note: The turmeric batter will change color to red after baking due to the natural reaction of turmeric with baking soda. 🌿
