Carrot Sabundana Wada


Ingredients:

  • Potatoes (mashed)
  • Sabudana (Sago pearls)
  • Onions (finely chopped)
  • Green chili (chopped)
  • Curry leaves (chopped)
  • Koh Food’s dehydrated green chili powder
  • Salt
  • Koh Food’s tomato powder
  • Koh Food’s carrot powder
  • Butter (for pan-frying)

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, sabudana, finely chopped onions, chopped green chili, and chopped curry leaves.
  • To the mixture, add Koh Food’s dehydrated green chili powder, salt, Koh Food’s tomato powder, and Koh Food’s carrot powder. Ensure thorough mixing to evenly distribute the flavors.
  • Form the mixture into vadas (patties) of your desired size.
  • Heat a pan and add butter to it.
  • Pan-fry the sabudana vadas on the buttered pan until they turn golden brown and crisp on both sides.
  • Ensure the vadas are cooked through by checking their internal temperature or cutting one open to verify.
  • Once done, remove the vadas from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess butter.
  • Serve the Koh Carrot and Tomato Sabudana Vadas hot and crispy, perfect for a delightful Navaratri special treat!
