Oats Carrot Porridge

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • Milk
  • Koh carrot powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder)
  • Kaju (Cashews)

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, place one cup of oats and roast them until they become light brown. Keep the flame low to avoid burning.
  2. Pour milk into the pan and bring it to a boil. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add Koh carrot powder to the mixture, stirring well to ensure it is evenly distributed.
  4. Incorporate 2 tablespoons of sugar into the mixture, adjusting the sweetness to your liking. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. Towards the end, add elaichi powder (cardamom powder) for a delightful fragrance and flavor.
  6. Toss in cashews (kaju) to add a crunchy texture to the oats.
  7. Continue to cook until the oats reach the desired consistency, absorbing the flavors of the carrot powder, elaichi, and sugar.
  8. Once done, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
